Watch Full Highlight: Wolfsburg 0-3 Chelsea

Chelsea are booked their place in Uefa Women’s Champions League semi-finals after defeat Bundesliga side Wolfsburg with a 5-1 aggregate.

After 2-1 win over Bundesliga giant in first-leg of quarters-finals stage last week, Emma Hayes’ side just took a 26th-minute as Sam Kerr broke into the box from Pernille Harder’s long ball and went down under a challenge. With a penalty awarded, Harder stepped up and side-footed it into the bottom corner.

Moments later, Wolfsburg star Ewa Pajor was desperately close to equalising but had to stretch too much at the far post. The Blues then made it two goals in five minutes, with a shot on the turn from Australian star Sam Kerr.

Emma Hayes’ side were well in control of the tie heading into the second half, and frustrated Wolfsburg with a resolute opening 15 minutes, while looking extremely dangerous on the counter-attack.

Despite the hosts’ desperate need for goals, they barely threatened the Blues’ back-line, and Fran Kirby put the finishing touches on the score-line with a nice strike when clean through on goal.

Semi-final opponents are likely to be Frauen Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, who have a 3-0 lead over Rosengard ahead of tomorrow’s second leg.
