Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was seen using emotionally hugging to welcome Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi back to Cobham training base on Friday.

The Blues were begin pre-season training with the start of the new domestic season just five weeks away and club academy star Abraham and Hudson-Odoi was among players who appeared at club training base on Friday morning.

The pair have been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, but welcome back home by Blues boss, Thomas Tuchel, who started his first full season in charge of the west London club.

Hudson-Odoi, Abraham and Tino Anjorin were the first three Blues players to walk through the doors at the training ground and huge welcome back from their boss.

Abraham and Hudson-Odoi working in the gym before participate in full training session and pair expected to be part of Tuchel’s squad that jetting off to Ireland for a more intense training camp, before play several local sides as they ramp up their preparations for a title challenge.

The Blues will also will face Arsenal and Tottenham in pre-season before heading to Belfast for the Super Cup against Villarreal on August 11 and three days later they will host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in the opening game of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
