Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech are leads Chelsea pre-season training on Wednesday as Thomas Tuchel’s squad that put through their paces at Carton House in Kildare Ireland, Dublin.
The attackers duo, who impressed in Chelsea’s close door friendly matches 6-1 win over Peterborough United last Saturday, take major part during the training session on Wednesday.
Ziyech, who scored an hat-rick against Championship side, delivered amazing goal while Pulisic, who also on target, produced magnificent piece of dribble at Carton House in Kildare Ireland, Dublin on Wednesday morning.
The training session including some intense ‘match-based action on a quarter-sized pitch’ as well as ‘free-kick and penalty-taking practice’, the latter of which prompted a nice celebration from Tammy Abraham, channeling his inner Victor Moses or Celestine Babayaro.
Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga also working hard on their fitness, while starlet likes Charly Musonda, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Dujon Sterling, Trevoh Chalobah, Jake Clarke-Salter, Malang Sarr, Matt Miazga, and Baba Rahman also take major part in Wednesday’s training session.
After arrival at Dublin on Tuesday morning, Thomas Tuchel’s men started their pre-season training session four hour later, before return to training camp on Wednesday morning.
On Thursday evening, the Champions League holder will take on Drogheda United at their current training location just outside of Dublin.
Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30pm, with the match itself set to take place behind closed doors.
The Blues squad that is understood to be available for selection against Drogheda United.
