Balogun, meanwhile, set to commit his future at Emirates beyond this summer. The 19-year-old, whose current contract runs out at the end of the season, hasn’t penned a new deal at this moment in time.
However, it now appears that the Gunners have made a breakthrough in talks after months of negotiations with the highly-rated forward representative.
Balogun, who yet to make an appearance in the Premier League, already shone in the Europa League for Arsenal this season, scored two goals and contributed one assist in four substitute appearances.
The teenager is very talented and promising young striker who has already impressed the Gunners fans with his performances in the Under-23s side and in training with the senior team, and commit his future at the club beyond the summer of 2021 would be great for the club.
According to Athletic, official announce over the deal with the London club is expected on Wednesday as the highly-rated forward will undergo media duties with the Arsenal media team on Tuesday, and that the announcement will be made a day later.
