Miguel Azeez has delivered an impressive performances in Arsenal Under-18 4-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers in the FA Youth Cup today.

Khayon Edwards opened the scoring for the Gunners youngest side after just nine minutes of the game, pouncing on a goalkeeper error after a great ball by Norton-Cuffy.

Talented winger, Kido Taylor-Hart doubled the visitors lead in 33th minutes after good combination of Azeez and Cirjan.

Miguel Azeez, who has played 12 times in the Premier League 2 this season for the Gunners Under-23s, netted a stunning strike to put his side 3-0 up shortly before half time.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who has often trained with Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad this season, picked the ball up around 25 yards from goal, took a touch to open his body up and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the top right-hand corner, leaving the Rovers goalkeeper with no chance.

His sublime strike against Rovers this afternoon, once again providing proof as to why he is so highly thought of at the Emirates stadium and hopefully of gets more of a chance under Mikel Arteta next season.

However, Blackburn Rovers threatened a comeback just one minute into the start of the second half when Australian striker Zak Gilsenan made it 1-3.

In the end, though, his goal did not threaten Gunners youngest side too much as they wrapped up the win once and for all in the closing stages, making it 4-1 through right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy in the 90th minute, ensuring the Gunners progressed to the next round of the competition.
