Ex-Arsenal star Santi Cazorla has been in excellent form in Qatar with Al Sadd, scoring his 16 goals of the season through free-kick against Al-Nassr in the group stage of the Asian Champions League.
Cazorla, who signed for Al Sadd last summer, using his left-footed to scored incredible free-kick after 59 minutes to level it for his side’s.
However, the team managed by Spain and Barcelona legend Xavi, suffered 3-1 defeat to Al-Nassr in the group stage of the Asian Champions League.
Earlier of this month, Cazorla, 36, provided numerous reminders of his everlasting quality, scored a cheeky Panenka penalty in Al Sadd 2-0 win over Al-Gharafa.
The Spanish playmaker stepping up without a flicker of nerves, Cazorla waited until the goalkeeper had committed himself before chipping the ball down the middle of the goal.
Back in February, Cazorla also scored last-minute screamer for Al Sadd against Al Arabi. The 36-year-old has turned into an unrepentant goal-getter, scored a spectacular 92nd-minute screamer to win the derby against Al Arabi.
The ball fell to Cazorla on the corner of the box and after one touch to take it out of his feet he smashed it past the goalkeeper and into the far corner.
Al Arabi had been leading 2-1 until the 90th minute, before Baghdad Bounedjah scored an equaliser and Santi Cazorla grabbed his goal, so the strike sparked exuberant scenes at the Jassam Bin Hamad Stadium.
In first season in Qatar, Cazorla has scored 16 goals and contributing 11 assists across all competitions.
