So Impressive: Watch How Silva, Jorginho & Mount celebrate Emerson stunning strike against Atletico Madrid

Mason Mount, Thiago Silva and Jorginho erupted into wild celebrations in the stands as substituted Emerson Palmieri put the icing on the cake for Chelsea to send them to the Uefa Champions League quarter-final.

The west London club made work of the Spanish side, successfully dispatching their opponents 2-0 (3-0 on aggregate).

The Blues were without the trio for the second-leg at Stamford Bridge but were still able to prevail, thanks to goals from Hakim Ziyech and late substituted Emerson Palmieri.

Ziyech, 27, scoring the opening goal for Blues in the first-half when he tucked home from Timo Werner’s pass across the box.

Atletico Madrid were then reduced to 10 men when former Manchester City man Stefan Savic was shown a straight red card for an elbow on Antonio Rudiger.

Emerson Palmieri was then an unlikely hero for the Blues as he raced onto Pulisic’s pass and rifled the ball beyond Jan Oblak in stoppage time.

The cameras then panned to the injured Thiago Silva, who had been marshalling the Chelsea back-line from above.

He could barely contain his delight at the late goal, as Mason Mount and Jorginho ran down the stairs to celebrate as one.

The trio were jumping around with beaming smiles and can now look forward to being back for the two quarter-final ties.

Thiago Silva has been missing since the win over Tottenham Hotspur five weeks ago and recently suffered a setback in training.

The veterans defender is nursing a thigh problem but is hoping to be back on the pitch in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, midfield duo Jorginho and Mount were suspended after picking up yellow cards in the first leg in Romania.
