Romelu Lukaku has been delighted to return to Cobham training base on Thursday, as Thomas Tuchel’s men prepared for crucial clash against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Early of the week, report claimed the 28-year-old doubt for Saturday’s clash against Villa after sustained an thigh injury problem during Belgium 3-0 win over Czech Republic on Sunday evening.
However, the Belgium international was appeared at Cobham on Thursday, trained alongside the rest of Thomas Tuchel’s men, as they prepared for weekend’s game against Aston Villa.
After undertaken series of training session at Cobham, Lukaku took his official social media account to send lovely message to Chelsea fans across the continent.
The 28-year-old powerful strike wrote: ‘Were Back’ and with latest post and appeared at Cobham, Lukaku could be available for selection when the Blues face Dean Smith’s men on Saturday evening at Stamford Bridge.
Saul Niguez, Hakim Ziyech, Cesar Azipilicueta and Mateo Kovacic, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz also take major part in Thursday’s training session at Cobham as Blues look to bounce back to winning ways after 1-1 draw at Liverpool before the international break.
