Arsenal have completing the signing of Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna in a region of £16million on deadline day.
The 22-year-old defender, who previously heavily linked with a move to Spurs, become Arsenal’s sixth summer signing and penning a four-year deal with the North London club.
The Japan international completed his medical in Italy later on deadline day before being announced as the Gunners’ sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
The versatile 22-year-old, who handed Jersey No 18, leave Bologna after scoring three goals and setting up three assists in 64 appearances for the Serie A club.
Meanwhile, Hector Bellerin has joined Real Betis on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy next summer.
