Zinedine Zidane has reportedly set to included Eden Hazard in Real Madrid XI when they lock horns with Chelsea in the second-leg of their Uefa Champions League semi-final tie at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.

The 30-year-old playmaker missed six of his side’s last seven Champions League games and hasn’t started in the competition since November.

However, he made return to action as substituted in Madrid’s goalless draw with Real Betis before came off the bench in the first-leg of their Uefa Champions League semi-final clash with his former club.

And despite his recurring injury woes this season, Real manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly considering the Belgian to start in his return to west London on Wednesday evening, according to AS.

Hazard, who bagged 110 goals with 78 assists in 352 appearances for Chelsea, made his first league start in three months as Los Blancos beat Osasuna 2-0 on Saturday to keep their title hope alive.

So since the ex-Blues star delivered sparkling performances at weekend and not showed any signal of setback, Los Blancos boss ready to include him again in starting XI for Real Madrid when visit Stamford Bridge for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening.


The Spanish champions trip to the English capital knowing they must score to reach a fifth final in eight seasons, with Christian Pulisic’s opener at the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano giving the Blues the advantage.

Real Madrid have gone unbeaten in 19 matches across all competitions ahead of the second leg while Chelsea have gone from strength to strength since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as manager in January.

The west London have recorded only two losses in 23 games under the German, one of which was in their last home outing in the Champions League, a 1-0 defeat to Porto in the quarter-finals while other was in domestic league against West Bromwich Albion.
