Eden Hazard has provided an update on his future amid Real Madrid exit and Chelsea return links.
The 30-year-old playmaker has been struggled for Los Blancos since his more than £100million move from Chelsea in 2019, missing no fewer than 59 games through injury so far.
Hazard has managed just 30 La Liga appearances, scoring only four goals to date, and those poor fitness and goal records have led to talk of him being sold ahead of next season.
Talk of a possible Chelsea return has followed, but it seems Hazard is hell-bent on proving himself at Real Madrid despite his struggles so far.
‘I don’t see myself leaving Real Madrid right away,’ Hazard said in a Belgium press conference.
‘My first two years weren’t great due to injuries. When I’m fit, I can do great things for the clubs.
‘Now I want to think about the European Championship first. Then I will give everything for Real.’
