Arsenal have made their first January signing with the arrival of highly-rated Lino Sousa from West Brom.
The 16-year-old left-back has been showcased series of impressive display for West Brom Under-18’s in the last two season.
Sousa, who is turn 17 later this month, is a widely versatile left back, and his fantastic dribbling ability and close control caught the attention of several Premier League sides.
And despite subject interest from several Premier League sides, Mikel Arteta’s side are reportedly secured the signature of highly-rated defender.
According to Football London, The left back, who is part Brazilian, has already trained with his new teammates.
Meanwhile, club technical director Edu Gasper is doing everything to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina this month.
The Gunners want to strengthen their squad ahead of second-half of the season, and Vlahovic, who scored 16 goals in 19 appearances in Serie A this term top club’s primary target to booster their front-line.
And it is understood that Vlahovic open to Premier League move but his agents remain biggest obstacle to getting a deal done.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have good relationship with Fiorentina after Lucas Torreira loan deal.
And in case if Arsenal fail to convince Vlahovic’s agents this month, other targets include Lille’s Jonathan David, Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
