‘I Thinks “Ben” Deserved Full Praise’: Watch The Ways White Set-up Smith-Rome’s Goal Vs Watford

Despite Emile Smith-Rowe scoring the only goal that secured victory for Arsenal over Watford last Sunday, Ben White deserved to be praised for his big role played in the goal netted by the club academy product.

The Englishman, who made a shaky start to life at the Emirates, has been established himself as a pivotal player under Mikel Arteta’s team in recent weeks.

The 24-year-old centre-back produced a solid defensive performance against the Hornets. White managed three interceptions, three blocks, six clearances and won 10 ground and aerial duels.

Aside from his defending, he impressed with his advancing runs into the Hornets half. The centre-back played a key role in Emile Smith Rowe’s 56th-minute goal.

White made a terrific marauding run towards the Hornets’ box. His path was blocked, but the interception fell kindly for Smith Rowe to open the only goal that secured all three points for Mikel Arteta’s men.
