I Love This!!! Watch How Thomas Tuchel celebrate Blues win over City with his players

Thomas Tuchel is not a man who keeps his emotions to himself and that has been evident throughout his time in charge of west London club.

Be it pure elation, understated jubilation, obvious frustration or mild irritation, Chelsea players and supporters alike can always get a pretty clear read on how German coach is feeling during and after a game.

At the Etihad stadium yesterday, the German coach went through it all. He was seething for most of the opening period against City, largely because referee Anthony Taylor had failed to show Sterling a red card for a foul on Werner and had awarded the home side a spot-kick with Chelsea down to ten men having lost Andreas Christensen due to injury.

But the 47-year-old’s mood improved in the second half, as did his came from behind to defeated the Premier League leader. Goals from Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso had secured a hugely impressive 2-1 victory for Chelsea.

After a quick handshake with City boss Pep Guardiola, one of Tuchel’s biggest coaching influences, the former PSG boss strode onto the Etihad Stadium pitch ready to congratulate every member of his side.

There was a huge embrace and words of encouragement for starlet Billy Gilmour, who had produced a hugely mature display in what was only his second Premier League appearance of the campaign.

The 19-year-old midfielder had conceded a first-half penalty – which Sergio Aguero missed – but displayed stoic character to shine in the second period.

Reece James, the driving force of the Chelsea side down the right flank after the half-time interval, also got the full Tuchel treatment: a warm hug and then a sentence or two of praise.

Tuchel repeated the process with several more players before he came to Callum Hudson-Odoi, whose appearance as a second half substitute helped change the game, the manager playfully pushed him, passionately gave him a coaching lesson, before holding him in a loving manner.
