Blues have held Erling Haaland transfer talks as they prepared to fund £154m move

Chelsea have been in contact with Erling Haaland’s representative over the possibility of a summer move to Stamford Bridge, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has established himself as one one of the most exciting striker in Europe since joining Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January of last year.

The Norwegian star has scored 57 goals from 59 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund and his stellar performances attracted interest from number of the top club’s across the Europe.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea are reportedly interested in services of highly-rated forward, who value at £150million by the Bundesliga giant, due to his formidable attacking prowess.

However, reports by transfer expert Kristof Terreur, claim Chelsea, who in market for centre-forward, have already held talk with Haaland’s representative in order to secure the signature of forward over the others top Europe club.

The Blues are in market for top-class striker ahead of next season, with Thomas Tuchel’s current options somewhat limited at the top of the pitch.

Romelu Lukaku is believed to be near the top of Tuchel’s transfer shortlist alongside Haaland and Harry Kane, but it’s look like the Norwegian star is the main target for the London club after Lukaku insist on stay in Serie A.

It is also claimed that Dortmund have asked for a fee of £154million in order to part ways with their star man, a request that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly prepared to oblige.

Chelsea Eyeing A Summer Move For Declan Rice

Chelsea have reportedly step up their pursuit on land Declan Rice from West Ham this summer, after Tuchel given green light on England international.

The 22-year-old central midfielder, was one of the Hammers’ standout performer as they book place in Europa League next season.

According to The Guardian, Thomas Tuchel values Rice’s qualities as a centre midfielder and seen him as a player that can improve his current squad.

But Chelsea’s fellow Londoners would demand a massive fee for the player who was on Chelsea’s books between 2006 and 2014.

Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni and Benfica’s Julian Weigl are cheaper alternatives if Rice cannot be signed.

N’Golo Kante has suggested that he is eyeing an extended stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of his current contract aim interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Spur boss has been identified the Blues star as the desired target, however, Kante, who is current in national duty with France ahead of Euro 2020, revealed that he harbours no aspirations on leaving west London club any time soon.

The Frenchman, who has two years left on his current contract at the club, taking in a press conference with national side France, he said: ‘I have been at Chelsea for 5 years, I have enjoyed wonderful seasons. I hope to experience many others.

‘It is not something that I am focusing on. I have another two years of contract with Chelsea and I feel good.’

Kante has made 218 appearances for the Blues since arriving from Leicester City in 2016, winning the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League and FA Cup during his time at the club.
