Chelsea have received huge blow in pursuing of Erling Haaland after Dortmund sporting director Micheal Zorc confirmed the highly-rated forward will remain in Bundesliga side this summer.
The Blues are in market for new centre-forward this summer and it’s understood that the Norwegian striker, who scored 40 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions last season, wishlist Thomas Tuchel target.
However, the Uefa Champions League holder could miss out on the 20-year-old as Bundesliga giants are planning their new season with the highly-rated forward.
Speaking to BILD, via Fabrizio Romano, Zorc said: ‘Nothing has changed. We are still planning with Erling (Haaland) for the new season.’
As a result of that, the Blues could turn their attention to Haaland alternative with including Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane.
